want it to feel newer

I really do enjoy my '87 4Runner, except when I have just driven my wifes '03 Explorer. It just feels old, which it is of course. What if anything have you guys done that made it feel like a nicer ride? Would some sound deadening make a difference, nicer seats, improve the heating in some way? I guess I just want it to have more of a luxury feel to it, but still be able to rescue Jeeps of course.

That's easy, an Old Man Emu suspension will make it ride and handle better than new. There's plenty of aftermarket seats available too.

Yeah what he said. But anyway if you want to lux it up a bit dress up the interior a bit, Get new seats (like previously stated) and maybe get a killer head unit with nav.

I should have said already that I am happy with the way it handles, I think seats and a little sound deadening should help. Already have a pretty decent sound system.

anyone know any simplish mods to the engine to make my baby any faster? im a speed demon, and hate that my runner has absolutly no balls. its scary passing people. any suggestions?
