Want to buy a 4Runner

Hi,

I'm looking at a 1999 4Runner SR5 V6 5spd, but what's holding me back is the fact that it has 194,000 kms on the car. What should I be looking for that I should be worried about? He said timing belt was changed and he's the second owner. What's a fair price you guys think? He's asking $12,500.

I bought my 98 Ltd full load last year in Abby ,I really hummed and thought about it cause it had 209K ( 129,000 miles )on it BUT I have owned several Jap trucks and cars and the last Prelude I owned had 485K on it ,original motor( I sold it 3 years ago and STILL see it driving around town LOL) . My T4R was original owner with all maint. records from Toyota . The thing looks like new and u can tell it was well cared for . So even with that many KM's u have to look at how its been treated and so on . I would offer them a little less cause its a SR5 .
I see our US counterparts here buying these sometimes for far less BUT in the Fraser Valley 4Runners really maintain a high resale value .

Oh I paid 12,500 for mine last year . Just to add , its been 100% trouble free as well !!! It also had brand new Michelins on it as well
