Wanted: Double decker cargo system

I'm looking to get the double-decker cargo system into my 05 SE. I didn't get the option when I purchased it, and now I'm regretting it.

Does anyone know where I can find one and how much I might be looking at? Also, if anyone on this forum has one for sale, please PM me - I notice many people are actually going the other way and removing their double-deckers.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think you can get the double decker cargo system in the SE model that has a JBL sound system. If I remember correctly, it has something to do with the woofer. Then again, I could be incorrect about the above statement.

Anyways, why would you want a cargo robbing device such as this?

You can have the double decker and the JBL on a SE. Its the exact configuration on my truck.

It has its uses, though I personally have yet to find it.:)

If you trade someone, I think there is also a trim piece that you need to trade so as to cover the area when you don't have a double decker system. Do a search as someone removed it and it shows the piece I'm referencing.

Thanks guys.

Guessing my only recourse is to ping those that have attempted to remove their system and perhaps they'd be interested in selling.

fo'runner, I understand that you do lose a bit of space with it, but I like the organizational factor.

It is good for organizing small boxes, packages. But it is cumbersome when you have large parcels, bags of mulch, etc. Or camping in the back.

Its not much if you ask me. I was able to fit a washer and a dryer on separate trips. I could have probably fit both, but I had smaller items that I used to "wedge" them in place.

I would swap with you, but I live 3,000 miles away in NJ. Hopefully you can find someone close to you that is willing to swap.

Thanks again guys.

Hey, if you happen to run across anyone on the forum near my neck of woods who might be willing to swap, please let me know.

Stealership wanted over $750 for the system, and that's before the installation!

well it is SOUTHERN California most of us Cali members are in.

Hey, glad to hear.

So if anyone's got info about a possible swap, please send me a PM or post to this thread.

West SIDE! j/k...I'm a dumbass.

I too be willing but I'm 3,000 miles away. I have had my car for more than 1.5 years and have yet to use it. I find it a total waste!!! Unless you can come up with a reason, I think your wasting your time and money. I got that stupid spider net too and that's been sitting in the garage the entire time.

I actually just got back from camping at a local site. I think the double decker would have come in handy as I had many small item (gas stove, food, packs, etc) that would have fit under the double decker. Insteady I basically just staked everything. I appreciate the reply though. Maybe if I get desperate enough, I'll pay for your shipping and maybe we can swap. Altough, you'd have to tell me what I need to remove from my truck so we don't end up short a piece...ha!
