Wanted: mod to shut off VSC

I have an 05 2wd V6 that I have owned for a couple of years now. I am to my wits end with the VSC on this thing, I understand what a great tool it is for most people. My complaint is there should be a way to turn this system off.

I have been stuck at the boat ramp pulling out my a friends boat due to moss on the concrete ramp. The system detects the spin and bam hit the brakes. The latest was there was ice in the parking lot at school and I could not get out in reverse.... I had to keep going forward and slowly going back and forward to get out with out it engaging the brakes

This system is a pain. Does anyone know a mod to add a switch to control it.

Dude has a 2wd. Do you have the TRAC OFF button left of the steering wheel? If so push it.

:iagree: That'll defeat the power robbing aspect of the VSC system. You'll still hear some clicking. That's the auto limited-slip trying to balance the speed of the left and right rear wheels.
