17" 4Runner Sport Rims

I have my original factory sport rims for my 04 (same as 05)
with tires, caps, bolts & pressure sensors in great condition. Only 3000 miles or so before i got my 20's.

I am in miami, but shipping should be fairly minimal, i have a buddy with a wheel company who will pack and ship them at cost (around $80 or so for shipping).

They are made by a company called "Replica Alloys"

They are definitely not the same company, and i can almost guarnatee they are made of very low quality materials at that price.

That's not the name of the company.... it's just in the section of the website for replica wheels.

How can you be so sure that the quality isn't the same as OEM? It's very possible that these are the same exact wheels sold under a no-name brand.

I am basing the brand assumption on the fact that the "Replica Alloys" logo appears just like the rest of the different brands of wheels that appear on that website. Also it appears in the "shop b brand" area as a brand. Although it is quite possible that this is a brand that discount tires manufactures themselves.

As for the quality aspect, the toyota factory rims are very high quality. I have done a lot of web work for a large wheel company that manufactures 5 different brands of wheels of varying quality, and any wheels they sell at such a low price point are made in the lower quality factories of lower quality materials in order to make any kind of real profit.

Obviously, the biggest thing is that i would rather he buy my wheels...

Thanks for the replies. I was wondering what the market was for stock wheels that people have removed. I was hoping that they were in abundant supply, but I have not seen too many for sale. I did the same thing for snow tires on my F-250 and ended up with 2 extra sets of wheels for $250 total, people are practically giving those away. thanks for all of your help, I'll keep your suggestions in mind.

Maybe you're right... I dunno....if there's a company with the name "Replica Alloys" out there.

I'd like to find out who makes the original wheels for Toyota. Shouldn't be too difficult to research.... I'm sure Toyota dealers will charge an boat load of cash for a replacement rim, but how much do you think Toyota pays for each Sport Edition rim? I know they're buying in a huge volume, but I'd be surprised if they pay more than $50 for each wheel.

Actually, i was at a christmas party with my wheel clients last night and it came up, one of them said he thought enkei makes all toyota rims, but who knows, they are dfefinitly a big enough company to make them themselves. Who knows,

We know that Enkei makes some of the TRD wheels and BBS too. I seem to remember seeing somewhere that the stock wheels were Enkei, but can't recall where.

all of the toyota wheels Ive seen have been enkei wheels. they have the little symbol on the rear o fthe wheel, right next to the offset.
