Hey guys, I'm wanting to sell my 97 SR5. Looking for honest opinions for pricing. Any help would be great. Thanks, Clayton

Pricing is tough because it's so different in different parts of the country. All depends on how bad you want to sell it too. I always get on CL and try to figure out how people are pricing similar trucks and work from there. Watch for vehicles that sit around and never sell too. It takes some time. Out here guys would ask $10K+ for it easy. Hell there is a salvage truck with 200K+ on CL right now and I think they want $7500.

If I was buying it I would pay around $8K I think, but I'm sure lots of guys would pay more. What price did you have in mind? List it $1K higher and let someone talk you down if you're not in a rush. If you're in a rush list it for $500 less than the most similar truck you can find.

Hey, ya never know what might happen. It's all about finding the right buyer at the right time.

You're at the high end(and agree that you can get higher prices in CA), but it might be worth waiting a few weeks to see if some rich kid gets his parents to buy it for him. Late spring/summer would be the best time to sell it.

PNW you'll get high pricing too. Just make sure however yuo list it, get ALL your pictures nice and pretty and be prepared to show WHY you're asking what you asking. Example, receipts, etc.
