warm idle issue

This is the inverse of the high idle issue I will have when the weather gets cold again. After driving a while and everything is warmed up normally, you turn the '93 3.0 auto off, run into the store and come out to re-start it and it won't hold an idle for about 2-3 minutes. It will drop to zero and die. I think there is probably a coolant sensor issue here.
Where are the coolant sensors located?
Any other experienced, solved the same issue, non-speculative answers to the same condition?

There is a coolant sensor under the intake. You might check your fuel system(running, rest pressure, etc..). With the ethanol in the petrol these days, it's eating up these old gen systems. The rubber and seals are not designed to handle it. I went through and completely rebuilt our system. It's always worth checking for vacuum leaks and timing. Hope you find the issue.

i have the exact same issue with mine and i have never found anyone with the same issue. However i am fairly certain that it is a vacuum leak just never checked for one. doesn't bother me too much as long as i accelerate a little fast after start up it goes away.

Seems like it could be the temperature sensor, cold start injector timer, or the cold start injector itself.

I haven't bothered looking into it myself since I can just rev for a few seconds and get it idling right.
