Washer Fluid Brain Crampism

So my washers froze this morning on the way to breakfast at the diner. I thought at first that I had run out of fluid. But later, when I pulled into the garage at home and grabbed one of my already open gallons of windsheild washer fluid, it clearly said "Summer Formula" on the bottle.

Crap.... SO anyway, make sure you put the right fluid in your windsheild washer. I bought a couple winter gallons later, and I filled the resevoir (it did take a half gallon). Tomorrow morning I'm sure the garage will be warmed enough that the fluid will be thawed in the lines, and I can get some flowing through the system. Sheesh.....

Also, could not find a hill that would stop the 4runner. Plowed or unplowed, standing start or rolling, it climbed everything. The stock Bridgestoned H/t 840's perform ok.

Oh yes, been there too!

I buy a couple gallons at a time as I go thu it fast in the winter, dang road slush! I usually just run the winter stuff all year long, as I usually have iit in hand anyway.

A half-bottle of isopropyl alcahol wroks too, tho if your 4R has any kind of windsheild treatment, it may eat it off...but the winter stuff usually have isopropyl in it anyway.

Just got back from a 40 acre playland, 8 inches of nasty half frozen slushy snow and mud...full of camping boy scouts! Whatta blast, churning by stuck Suburbans!
