Washing truck in the winter

This is how I will wash my vehicles in the winter. This piping goes to my clothes washer. I placed a tee in the hot water pipe. The ball valve to the far left has a bleeder screw mounted on top of the valve. This is so that I can drain the copper pipe to the garage, after each wash since it can freeze out there; once I finish running the rest of the pipe. The garage and laundry room are back-to-back. I need some warm weather so that I can clean out the garage and run the final leg of water pipe.

Currently, I just disconnect the hot water leg at the water hammer device and screw the garden hose to it since it has a garden hose thread on it.

This garden sprinkler helps remove salt from the under-carriage

Nice set-up. I helped my buddy install something VERY similar in his garage. It worked very well. The spinkler works great by the way. FYI-I dont think the salamander/gecko you have crawling in the pipe will help you wash your car.
