Nice to see the follow Washintonians here... Do you guys do the work on the runners your self or go get it done. I am looking to do some stuff to my runner. and fix some things that are wrong with it.

thats good to know. I am wanting to do some upgrades to my runner, just dont know where to start. It feels like it is loosing some power from the time since I bought it. Where do you guys get most your parts from. Just like auto zone, or do you guys buy offline.

I am wanting to do new plugs and wires. and a cai, ezhaust. I am going to be getting new rims and tires here shortly just dont know when yet.

Any ideas where to start to get some more power and or gas milage?

i saw your other thread regarding your power loss. not sure how many miles you have put in the last 5 months but the advice given has been pretty good. You definitely want to do all your 60k maintenance like plugs, oil + filter, air filter and front + rear + t-case.

i rarely buy parts locally only oil and grease. I buy most of my parts online including toyota oem and aftermarket.

Thanks in advance!

Skagit County

Hello Gang,
I see there hasn't been any activity on this thread for a couple of months so I thought a hello from Skagit County would kick it again. I see a lot of T4R's up in this area so I figure there should be interest.

Agreed that the FB group is a great source of info. Love coming to T4R for ideas and inspiration. A bit hesitant to ask questions on this forum. Too afraid to post in the wrong thread and get flamed in to the ground. Finally getting better at using the "Google" feature in the upper right.

Hello,
Thank you for the information. Unfortunately, I don't have a Facebook account due to its intrusiveness and privacy concerns. I guess I'll have to skip the thought.

Gotch'ya

Tacomaworld also has a large PNW sub-section that is active. Several 4Runners in there
