wasting Gas (classic gen)

hello everyone, my 91 forerunner is wasting more gas than usual, i already changed the fuel filter and spark plugs,. i have over 200K miles on the motor. i am getting about 10-12 miles per gallon....

did you put both the little brass washers on the fuel inlet and outlet on the filter lines? you could be leaking

Changer your air filter!!!

Other thing is it could be your O2 sensor. If your check engine light is on you can jump a fuse and It'll tell you why.

It may sound stupid but check your tire pressures. It can be very deceieving with a stiff side wall tire!
