I do agree with Apple being a mild product with stolen ideas and no real self built product in a while. When they first marketed the iPad it was the smallest the world had ever seen and everything else was gargantuan. Now they market the big ones and tell of how great the HUGE display and how big it is and to use anything less than these enormous size screen devices is dumb. They are often behind in their products line and often withhold features so that they can release them on the next model 6 months later and believe it or not the Apple fans believe it and go buy it. I had an apple, but big picture and moving forward I don't think I can go back to them with their lack of innovation and their marketing of a new release product every few months with ONE new feature that could have been on the initial release. . is well like :deadhorse:
Do you mean iPhone instead of iPad?
Apple is slow for sure. But they take their time getting it right in terms of user experience. See Apple Pay vs. Google Wallet. See Facetime vs. others. See iMessage vs. others.
Google and Android are like throwing up all sorts of ideas and hope that one sticks. Often times, the consumer suffers from bugs and inadequate experience. Unfinished.
Example? Android first came out with 2k display, right? Of course, we all know that 2k display is pure marketing...but, it is nice for sure. Unfortunately, processors at the time could not power it adequately, resulting in lag, overheating, stuttering, and dim display. Is that what you want?
Or the Android's hilarious attempts at fingerprint sensor...that only got it right 2 years AFTER Apple introduced it. Yes, Atrix had it first (crappy one), but not until Apple introduced TouchID that fingerprint became relevant.
Now, as for Apple withholding features...you're right. Everyone does that. Or it could be that Apple needs time to research a feature before implementing it...because Apple Maps was a diasaster when it was released (too quickly). I think Apple has learned its lesson from that.
Apple Watch may be late to the game (like Apple Pay, FaceTime, iMessage, etc.), but it is a FAR superior product than anything else on the market. I can list for you how superior it is to Android Wear products if you want.
Or do you prefer Samsung route...release 10 million Galaxy phone variants every year and hope that people buy it? Hey, a person just bought Galaxy S6...but wait, next month, there will be S6 Active! DAMN IT!!!

And then next month, Samsung will release another S6 with faster processor...and so on. You prefer this route? And with all these variants...how long do you think you have to wait to get software updates?
Or do you prefer NEXUS route? Great software update cycles, but poor camera, audio, and construction.
Apple may be slow...but it is Apple who controls where the market goes. Did Google Wallet catch on? Not until Apple Pay became official. Did Android Wear become relevant? Nope...and most Android Wear OEMs are hoping to ride the gravy train of Apple Watch.
