Awesome action shots! Do you have the diff breather or any other mods for water this deep. I could see myself getting in water this deep, the diff breather is on my list, wondering if anything else should be. Thanks for sharing the great shots!

no diff breather. i wasnt planning on ever going in water nearly this deep but had to cross it on a trail. ill probably do the diff breather mod soon for next time and maybe drain and refill my diff oil to make sure no water is in there

marcel,

Dang...that's krazy!!

How did you know how deep the water was?
Actually from the photos, someone went through it before you.

i was with a jeep 4x4 and he went first but i actually didnt see him go so i just followed the direction he did and had no idea this water was this DEEP. there was a part on the other side where it came up onto my hood. and im only in 2WD! it was scary as $#!t

sounds like you were really lucky. If you had of gotten stuck... well I wouldn't want to find out how long the door seals and all the electronics can last while stopped in deep water.

Glad to see it worked out!

hahaha i was thinking that had to be twice to be like **** lets get some photos!

ahaaha thats pretty sick though!
i probably would do it as well AHHAHA

As a 2WD owner I am not shocked that it got through that, only thing i would be concerned with is the terrarin. Back in 1999 about a year after my parents bought the 4runner (I was 7 lol) there was a huge flood in ft.lauderdale and i was about the height of the hood, my whole family was in the truck and it did fine driving through the neighborhood without any mods like diff. breather and such. Of course this was on asphalt but it shows you that the 4runner is like a mini tank straight outta the crate. :bigok:

Marcel,

That is AWESOME ! From what I read about the breather mod, I'd get that on before the next water crossing temps your wave4Runner for sure. LOL

Then let it rip.......that looks like fun. Your passengers sure looked surprised as heck. Nothin like strapping a set on and going for it.
