Yesterday gas light came on, pulled off highway, filled tank at exxon station with 87 oct. Got back on highway- 10 or so miles down, entering rotary trucks sputters and dies. Coast into parking lot- restarts but runs rough. Left overnight, added bottle of dry gas- drove for a few miles. Still runs a bit rough...advice? thoughts?

Thanks...

What year and engine? I would say it's not likely to be water in the gas if it happened before and after adding fuel.

how's the engine oil and antifreeze? Any discoloration in the oil or sludge on the oil filler cap? Does it sound like it's misfiring on one particular cylinder?

92 6 cyl. It never happened before, just after getting gas last night...

Sorry, I read that wrong, I thought you were having the problem, then filled up. :bash:

Anywho, I would go back and complain to the station.

Will adding another bottle of dry gas harm anything? It still has a full tank of gas in it. Should I drive it to run the gas through, or is it better to sit?

*sorry a little slow with these things* thanks for the help...

Myself, I'd dump another bottle in and drive the crap out of it.
If it starts to improve your on the right track. If it doesn't then maybe it's something other than bad gas. YMMV
