Water in my Door Panels?

I was having problems with one of my rear speakers not working, so I took apart the door panel and removed the speaker. Upon removing the door panel, I noticed some water behind the clear plastic sheeting that covers the window motor, etc. I did not think much of it, assuming that a small amount of water is probably normal.

When I got to the speaker, however, I became concerned. The water in my door seems to be shorting out the speaker (it is soaked) I hope that it is not permanently damaged.

How much water in my door would be considered normal?

Obviously I need to mount baffles for my speakers, but is one of my seals faulty? I have taken apart a lot of doors, but I have never really noticed anything like this.

Unless you sprayed water down the door with the window open, the seal is supposed to keep most of the water out. Condensation can still build up in there as well as a bit of water that drips in upon rolling down the window when it's wet.

There should be drain holes in the botom of the door. Check to make sure they are open and unclogged. Some water can make it in the door, but that is why it is sopposed to drain out. It shouldn't be too much.

That's about what I thought. Water is not building up, there may have just been a combination of condensation and rain buildup.

I will just install baffles for the speakers and will test the seal at the lower winow while I have the doors taken apart.
