water proof lower half of doors?

If I were to get stuck in the water, which already happened. I don't want water to come through the doors, again. Water slowly started leaking through and eventually I was up to my ankles in muddy water with my clutch in, eventually soaking the alarm, which dried out perfectly.
But I don't want that to happen again. So is there any way to seal the lower part of the doors even better than they are? I did a search and couldn't find anything besides where to buy weather stripping.
I was very impressed at how well it held water out at first, but then it just kept coming.
So, any ideas?

But to be fair the doors have those holes so that water (eg RAIN) can drain through the doors.

if you plugged all the holes in your door they would fill up with water every time it rained and you would have huge problems with rust and crud,sh$t filling your doors.

Correct. When I had my 98, the PO had used it for masonry work and the rocker panels were filled with fine dust, plugging the drain holes. Rusted through from the inside since the water running down the windows couldn't get out.

No Problem man.

Remember, that stuff is what you can EXPECT to waterproof.

I haven't really given any solutions, because there's not many out there.

I am working on it, researching and such, but really not too many options out there..

If you run enough positive pressure in the cabin, that'll keep the water out.
