Got one for Christmas. They are fun and convenient.
Quick note for anyone thinking they are strong: If you are mounting the WaterPort on your roof/rack, put it up there empty and then fill up. Do not try to clean & jerk the damn thing while it's filled with water to get on your roof.

This weekend I went out and did some dispersed camping out in the dessert. My dog came running back up to me at one point at a trailhead and was all wet. I couldn't figure out where he had found water to get into, and then I realized he had rolled in a very fresh cow pie and was covered in it. I was very glad to have the Waterport (I got it on last year's Costco sale) mounted on the roof and filled to give him a cleaning right on the spot before I had to let him back in the 4Runner.
As great as it was to have for that purpose, overall I found the Nemo Helio pressurized water bag I had along with me more useful and versatile for camping. The thing is just so damn simple and portable, and it costs about 1/2 the price.

I agree. I bought one of the Waterports last time Costco had their sale on them and I really didn't find it very useful. It's HUGE for only holding 3 gallons and just totally inconvenient for pretty much all the stuff I would use it for. It's only handy to have pressurized water under certain circumstances and then 3 gallons really isn't enough for what I need it for. A regular old jug o' water is way more practical for the stuff I use it for. I have to lump this in with other products that seem useful but are really an answer to a question no one asked.
Obviously the opinions of others vary.

Thanks for the heads up on Rago sale. They have a bundle with the mount ,the waterPORT, and several accessories which I picked up.
FYI the sale at Costco is back on $119.99
