We need an aftermarket front splitter....

We need some type of aftermarket front splitter for downforce... I was going to make one out of fiberglass but I didn't want to put a lot of time into the project... Any recommendations?

That is more of a ricer mod than an SUV mod. I have had my black truck over 100mph and it does try to lift a little on me making it kinda scary. However, a splitter on a T4Rmay end up in the "did you see this joke" hall of records.

A splitter is not a ricer mod. However there are a lot of ricer cars that put splitters on them. I come from a import backround and have lots of experience with them. At the fab shop I used to work at we made custom carbon fiber splitters to order, but typically ones from APR were just as affordable to purchase rather than create from scratch. For budget minded race teams we would make a quick and dirty one made out of plywood. Ghetto I know but effective and cheap. Cut it like an elongated half circle, leave the straight edge under the bumper, and add support struts where neccesary. a total of 4 struts should be more than enough. When you have the shape right hit it with the rattle can of your choice. Teams would usually get 4 to 5 races out of them. Those silly curbs did get in the way from time to time.
