Weak Clutch, grindin gears !

I thought it was my slave cyl. so I replaced it with new one. I'm afraid it's my pressure plate and an entire clutch rebuild, but I didn't replace master cyl. Can I tell by how much travel I get from slave cyl. and lever arm. And how much travel would that be before I resort to pullin my tranny for the whole works, wich I don't have the money for quit yet, when it just could be a master cylider wich I can afford. If not , I'll start saving up for my clutch rebuild project for this spring.

The whole clutch was only like 70 bucks for mine, and my flywheel didnt need resurfacing. It took me and my grandpa two days to do. Its a pretty easy job, and home mechanic can do the clutch. I would just look into doing it yourself, it'll save TONS of money

Is it the V6 or 4cyl. If its the V6 the clutch kist is going to run a little more than the one for the 4cyl. It is always best to get the flywheel resurfaced whenever you change out the clutch just so it wont have any chatter or premature failure. It is so cheap to have it done that it is worth it or possible buy a new flywheel depends on how much they charge for resurfacing. I was looking at the Marlin clutch kit for my 3.0. It runs 199 on their website and the flywheel isnt that bad on price either.
