Wear and tear/Colorado rust

Finally got around to doing an Icon lift to replace my leaking, trashed 5100s. Turned out that it was a bit more of an intensive job.

CV axles were trashed at 95k, LCAs were seized up with rust, SPC UCAs were the old type that tend to break in half, torsion rod bearings in the back were seized up, ball joints were trashed... an easy job turned into a PITA of replacing parts.

Idiot Toyota dealers also trashed my Spydertrax and stretched the bolts...

Looks great now, but damn do Toyota parts cost a lot to replace and don't handle the Mag Chloride well.

Any bolt I removed when I did suspension work I coated with anti seize to prevent issues down the road. I had a mechanic do this on my Lexus IS300 back in the day when he said my alignment cams were frozen. Never had an issue again.

Yep, this is exactly what they did, too, this time around.

Just drove the truck to Stockton where it's not going to see salt except from the ocean...

I would never bring your truck with wheel spacers on to a dealer or a tire shop. They don't you torque wrenches. If your lucky maybe a tq stick which aren't exactly exact. It's asking to sheer a wheel off at the worst time.

I didn't realize it at the time but they had done at least three "free tire rotations" until I told them not to touch the damn wheels and tires.
