Weather app on 2020?

We traded our 2016 Trail Premium for a 2020 Off Road Premium.

One of my favorite features on the ‘16 was the weather app on the Entune app suite. It pulled weather data from HD radio stations and it was just perfect for my needs.

The ‘20 seems to have this feature but I only got it to work once. Every other time I press the Apps button, Infotainment is grayed out which is where I think I found the weather app.

I have my data settings set to use both HD Radio and the cellular service, and I’m always running CarPlay.

Any suggestions?

The weather app on my 2021 ORP is complete dog shit too. It doesn't even let me select my own city here in Los Angeles, it has its own "primary" cities that it only allows you to select.

I am an idiot. It’s not under Apps, which would make sense. It’s under Info. Why is there an Apps button on the radio??? It doesn’t do anything!

I use the analog version...works great.

I open sunroof.....if I get wet its raining....if I have to put on sunglasses its sunny, if not its night or cloudy (to determine which one, I look at the lights indicator (auto lights) and if the light are on, its night or I am in a parking garage or tunnel.

I have a little cheat sheet I wrote out so I don't forget.

:heh:

I’ve got my Home Screen set to have track+title, weather, and map. Press home and configure it to appear there. Not apps.
