Firstly, this process may not be for everyone. Being only 24 with a wife and a daughter, I like to save as much $ as possible. For some, this will seem like a complete waste of time. For others like me, this will be helpful.
I've been shopping the Weathertech DigitalFit Floor Liners out for a little while hoping to find a good deal. I finally found it. For those unfamiliar with Bing Cashback, refer to Bing shopping for details because it will be used in this process. The short story is that bing gives cashback for purchasing products through specific retailers simply by going through bing.com/shopping. The retailers, themselves, have nothing to do with the cashback process, it's just a bing thing. This write-up will not outline how to set up a cashback account although it is very easy if you go to their website. I didn't link paypal, or any bank accounts. I simply have them send a hard copy check to my house. For my purposes, I was pleased to see that Autoanything.com gives a 12% cashback rebate. Please see instructions below:
1) Go to Auto Accessories Garage and sign up for their email coupons by clicking on the link located beneath their phone number at the top of the page. You should then receive an email with a 10% off coupon.
2) Go back to their website, and add your items to your cart. I wanted the Tan Weathertech Digitalfit Liners (Front and Rear rows, but no cargo liner).
3) Once all items are added, click on the shopping cart. Here you will enter the discount code from the email into the "Coupon Code:" box. The 10% discount should now be visible, and you should receive free shipping and no tax (except for IL folks).
4) DO NOT CHECKOUT. You will actually be purchasing the liners from Autoanything.com, but NOT YET. Just keep that page open for now.
5) Open a NEW tab, and go to Bing shopping. (If you don't have a hotmail, msn, bing, or live account, you'll need to set one up now and enroll for bing cashback) Once there, MAKE SURE you login.
6) Next, click on "Cashback Stores" at the top/left side of the page. This is where you will see what cashback percentages are offered for specific retailers. Find "Autoanything.com". Click "Go to Store". It may ask you to login again. Do so.
7) After clicking on "Go to Store", you will be automatically directed to Autoanything's website. There you should search for your items, and add them to your shopping cart just as you would any other purchase. The total will come to $187.90 if you order the front & rear weathertech liners for a 3rd gen 4runner as I did. From this point, proceed throughout the entire checkout process. (Note that the bing cashback process will not be visible during the checkout process. It is entirely separate and will be properly processed within 2 business days through bing.com. Check your account at bing.com/shopping to see the cashback amount awarded after a day or two)
8) Once you receive your order confirmation email from Autoanything, call their 1-800 # to ask for a price match. Their price match policy is that they will beat any other legitimate price by $1, up to a year after you make your purchase. Explain to the customer service representative the coupon you received from Autoaccessoriesgarage and how it dropped the price of the product 10%. They will honor the price match, but you'll have to send the URL for the store, as well as the Coupon Code to Autoanything's customer service department via email. They should issue a partial refund for the difference within a few business days.
Summary:
Weathertech Liners $187.90
Price Match Discount (18.79)
Bing Cash Back (20.17)
Total Price: $147.94
No Shipping
No Tax
This doesn't include any Credit Card points, cashback, or sky miles either. For instance, I got another 1% back from my Amex card too.
