Weathertech or Huskey floor mats

I was just curious to see if anyone owned either one of these. I'm looking for some for the first and second row. I would really like to see some pictures to see if they look alright. I have the tan leather and wood grain.

Which brand is better? I heard OEM from Toyota isn't that great, so I think I will stay away from them.

What's the cheapest price?

try lloydmats.com. theyre custom cut from thick material, (1/4 in. thick with dimples to collect water) & around the same price as the others. they wont rip! i like mine.

Thanks for the replies so far. I'm mainly interested in pictures. I want to make sure they look good first and secondaly perform well.

Those Lloyd mats look pretty good.
 
I have some black husky liners for the rear seats I could sell you, for a good price if your interested. I also have some rubber husky mats for the front seats....

Interesting. Why would you choose that?

Rock Slide had a thread that lead me to believe Weathertech and you and Fo_Sheezy say Husky. Hum...
 
I have a set of Husky Liners for my 99 (front seats, back seats, and cargo area). They fit perfectly and i love them. I go skiing and the cargo piece does an excellent job of holding water same with the rest. Plus the back seat set covers the tranny hump. I'd go with the Husky liners!

Do you have pictures?

The Huskys do seem to fit the 4th Gen better.

For some reason I'm not a huge fan of the diamond plate pattern that the Huskys have. I do want good fitment though. I don't want any carpet exposed in the drive footwell.

yea, if you dont want any carpet exsposed the lloyds arnt for you, the material is so thick & tough its must be hard to get a perfect cut. theyre more like an industrial floor/door mat than mats for a car. but good for cargo area .
 
Clemon, IMO, weathertech is the way to go. If you've already read thru my entire write up thread on both the Huskys and WTs liners (which contain plenty of pictures of both), then you can see why I chose the WTs.

In that thread, pay close attention to how much more coverage area the WT liners provide vs. the huskys liners. Plus the backseat WT liner is ONE PIECE...not two separate pieces like the husky liner (pic included of that too in my thread.)

IMO, the WTs are definitely worth the extra price. Yes I was a bit light headed after spending that much just on mats, but now that I've had them for about a month or so, I could not be more happier. They definitely have exceeded my expectations.
 
I just ordered a complete set of Husky Liners for my 4Runner. In my previous SUV I had Weathertech mats and cargo liners and they also worked well and lasted for years with little wear. I really don't think you can go wrong with eather one and both protect far better then OEM mats. I just wanted to be different and tried the Husky brand and the liners this time around.

My 4Runner has the factory Toyota All Weather mats up front but the regular mats in the rear. No cargo liner other then the factory carpet liner. The Toyota All Weather mats look okay but not as good as a good aftermarket all weather mat. Not sure why the original owner never bothered putting in All Weather mats for the back seat.
 
I have a Silver 04 Sport and didn't want to pay for the expensive ones. I found good quality mats, that match color great and the size although not exact cut for Toyota match pretty good, at Cost Co. for $20 for 2 front & 2 rear mats!

At that price even if I destroy them in a year they are cheap enough to replace. I'll take some pics tonight and post.

How much are we talking price wise for the Weathertechs?

Any body have pictures of the Husks in black?
 
I found a company online selling the front and rear Husky liners for $131.90 shipped. (You have to search around, b/c everyone sells them at different prices. I saw them as high as $170 on one site...)

As far as the WTs, I searched all over the net and found them all to be only a dollar or two difference in price. Therefore I went to weathertech.com and bought them straight from them. I paid $177.90 shipped for the WTs.

IMO, the additional $46 for the WTs was oh so worth it.
 
On second thought I should have went with the Weathertech's. So much so I may return the Husky's and order the Weathertech's. Both work and work well at protecting your carpet but the Weathertech's seem to fit like a good glove whereas the Husky's seem to be loose fitting. I also like how the Weathertech's use the little clip in the carpet to keep them from moving around. The Husky's do not and you can see the back left and right front mats sticking up a bit.
