WeatherTech vs. Husky mats

I tried the WeatherTech All Weather mats at first but my clutch heel catches on the little ridges and I didn’t feel comfortabel shifting so I sent them back for the Digital. On the Digital ones the lip the covers the plastic door sill and catches my foot when getting in. I bent it the opposite but I noticed when the door is you can see on the passenger side it bunches up there. The design would be better without the lip.
Now I see Husky has a little better design where the catch tray is inside instead of covering the sill. I think I will try those. What do you guys think? :hatsoff:

I got husky liners (basic ones, not the fancy ones you posted), and they seemed pretty cheap when I first got them as they turned out to be made of pretty light stiff plastic. After installing them, I found that the stiffness is a boon, because it helps keep the mat in place, and it doesn't really move if I kick it a little bit. We'll see how long they last, but they seem like they will last a long time, and I don't have any problems with my heel catching on the grip, though I don't drive a manual.

Anyway, I really like the husky's, they are simple, and get the job done without getting in the way. Personally I'd go for whatever you can get cheapest.

I have the weathertech digitals. They are awesome. I have never had an issue with the lip at the door. When new, one had a small ripple at the door but it settled and is fine now. I have a friend, who also has the digitals, that had a quart of gear oil spill and it ran out the door. Nothing ended up on the floor.

Nelson... Thanks for your input. Ya if I didn’t have a manual they would have be fine. I had the CatchAll’s before and my heel went through them twice. Their reenforced area is made apparently for automatics only! Very thin plastic. I’ll try the Huskys I can always return them and go back to the factory mats which I have worn through the carpet top but not the rubber. Dam clutch... some day I’ll have auto... tired of rowing all over town. :driving:

BTW love the shot of your rig in the gas station snow. I see you got lucky with factory leather in a SR5 too!! :thumb3:

My heel was skipped a cross the ridges on the All Weather models, the Digital are fine except for the bunch up with the door closed. I notice my mom’s foot hit the edge as she gets in. :nono:

what are you doing with the weathertech digital liners if you get the Huskys?

I'd be interested in buying them if you're selling.

I have the Husky's. Just got them a few weeks ago, but so far, they are fantastic. Keep you eye on Craigslist, I picked up mine (full set of 5) for $40 in like new condition.
