Weight on a grill guard

Hey folks got a question for yah,

Anyone know how much weight an aries or westin grill guard can support?

25lbs? 50lbs? 100lbs? 150lbs?

wondering if i can through stuff on it besides just the lights.

a hi-lift,

or a 100lb girl

No problem with any of those things. Either one of those companies bars directly bolt to the frame. Westin is a much higher quality, however.

damn, and i ordered an Aries cause it was $140 cheaper than the westin plus people gave decent reviews.

Aries isn't bad. Their bracket system is a little cheesy. Other than that, fit and finish is good.

Westin is probably about 50 lbs. Just guessing by how heavy it felt

I have aries, i like it better then westin, I saw pics of 5th 4runner with westin and it looks to me like it is little bit smaller. The only bad thing about aries, you have to trim little bit, i was mad about that, other then that i think its cool bar.

my experience was not so good with cari: D, they send me wrong bar at first, then i send it back and they send me a new one, took probably about month for everything.
i was mad about that to...

Does that thing shake like crazy when in speeds that excess 60 mph? Just curious, I have the ARB bull bar on mine and its pretty good, however at high speeds 90 mph+ whilst turning its like driving a washing machine (but then what to you expect)!
