Weird Brake Light Issue

Ok, so tonight i was cleaning my truck (95 SR5 V6 4X4) for a road trip i am taking tomorrow, and i noticed my passenger side brake light wasn't working, i knew the bulb had been replaced recently, so i smacked the light a few times, and it came on, but then smacked it again, and it turned off again, i dug into the light, and found that when i tilt the bulb a certain way, it goes off, and i tried 3 different 1157 bulbs and ALL of them had the same issue. I'm guessing i might need a new connector for it, however, i can't find one anywhere on the internet. Any thoughts? Am i jumping to the most expensive solution first?

I'd check the local scrap yard for a new connector.

You could also try the parts store. There's a chance that they'll have a generic connector since I think those bulbs are used in other vehicles.
