weird fan issue

I have had my runner for almost two years now and I have noticed something for the first time. I was driving to work with the heater on and when I turned it off it sounded like a fan was still going somewhere. So I looked all over and saw that it was coming from under the passenger seat. There was a little vent or something and I felt the air coming out of. So I turned off the ignition and turned the car on but not the engine and it was still going.. I have never seen this before since I owned this car, what does this mean?

Well, if it was really "coming out" then your rear heater (controls on back of center console) is running backwards. But I suspect it was going in, as that is the intake/fan for the rear heat.

Look behind your center console. There will be fan and heat controls for the rear seat heater...

O ok I see now, I was toggeling with that last night and when I thought I turned it off I just turned it on low. I see theres a neutral position for the off. Thanks guys!:hatsoff:
