Weird Noise!

Okay, so I have had a '95 SR5 4Runner since it was new and I put just under 300,000 miles on it! I felt like an upgrade and just got into a '00 Limited 2WD. I'm a little nervous because even when I have the fan set to OFF it sounds like the fan is still on LOW even though I can't figure out where the air is coming in! I'm so confused and hope that I didn't make a HUGE mistake getting rid of old faithful. Can anyone please help me? Maybe this is just a standard circulation setting or something that you can't turn off....

Most likely the fan for the rear heat. See if the fan under the passenger seat is on. If it is, then turn it off on the rear console which you can see easier by sittin in the back seat.

I agree with Brutus.. Exactly what I found when I was hearing the same noise...

You Guys are awesome...that is exactly what it was! Even when the dial is set to off, you still have to set the fan to off..all in the back seat. I would have never figured it out without ya'll! Thanks again!
