Weird part stuck to back window?

Okay, I was getting ready to take pictures of my new SR5 and saw this really puzzling box on the rear driver's side window. This is just behind the rear left door. Any ideas as to what it is? To me it almost looks like some kind of signal booster for something, but that's just a shot in the dark.

Hard to tell from the pic but it reminds me of an old cell phone antenna. There was an inside pad to pass the signal to the outside glass mounted antenna.

Yeah, it's not the best lighting, as the setting sun was behind the part, so there's almost 0 fill light.. As far as I can tell, there's no marks on the outside of the truck to indicate that anything was stuck there, but you never know. Will take a better picture in the morning.

As everyone has said, that is the inside part of an old cellphone antenna.

To get it off take several strands of dental floss. Wrap the ends around a couple of bolts so you do not cut yourself. Then use the floss as a saw to cut the foam adhesive pad.

Just tear it off and scrap off the residue with a razor blade. Glass is hard.
