Yeah,the competition is quite stiff out there in the 4Runner forums. :

Almost 6000 members have yet to post anything and less than 3000 have yet to have more than 5 posts.
Member numbers are always like this on any board.
It's active members that drive a board.

768 have posted since October 17.

That matters a whole lot more than the total membership though I suppose like anything it has to be trended with previous years or other boards at the same time of year (assuming those boards aren't particularly seasonal)

There's another car board I'm a member of that has almost 70,000 member names registered, but looking around I'd be shocked if there's any more than 2000 currently active members... I've been on that board since just a few months after it first started in December 1997... so lots have come and gone.
