Steve, if you ever get a chance please post up a step-by-step installation guide and let us know exactly what we need to order. I would love to buy a conversion kit, but have just been too lazy to do all the research as to which was the best kit, wires, parts, tools, etc. I would need. If there was a kit available with model specific instructions available somewhere I would be all over it!

On the 4runner, the installation is literally plug+play. You do not need to worry about cutting, splicing, etc... The kit will literally just plug in.

The reason for the price difference between the 2 kits is that the XenonDepot kit uses German made Philips bulbs and ballasts.
The Xtreme kit uses Asian components.
Quality wise they are both great!
Initially, the Xtreme kits were only available in the higher colour temperatures whereas the XenonDepot line was available in the lower colour temperatures.
When it comes to colour temperature, the higher you go in terms of colour temperature the more colour you get however the less actual useable light you obtain.
However, we just launched 2 new Xtreme lines - 4000k and 5000k:

Now you can get the Xtreme kits in the lower colour temperature.
At the $224.99 price you really cannot go wrong with these kits. We have been selling the Xtreme line for approx 4 years now with very postive results.
