Weld Grill Guard?

Im really considering getting a grill guard for my 97 4runner. I just really like the look of them...more agressive. So I dont really intend on using it or anything.

My question is...can you weld a grill guard to your bumper and if so how many people have done this? Pros and Cons? Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated!

What one are you ooking at getting? I have a white 97 and want a good looking one, just not too expensive. Welding it on seems like it might work as a good alternative!

Im looking at one on Ebay Motors...I think its a brand named Hunter or something. Its only 210 shippped and I like the way it looks.

The guards do not weld to your bumper. They install with usually 4 bolts underneath your front bumper.

yea def just bolt on and not weld. they are great looking and i love mine but don't hold up for nothing in a wreck so welding it would be kind a con i would thinking. they do have a little sway while driving but its nothing bad
