Looking for a reputable welder that can weld on my Savage sliders in the San Diego/San Marcos area. Can anyone recommend a place? I've been quoted $170 at a local shop and $200 from a guy that welds out of his garage. I was sent to him by a local 4x4 shop. What did you guys pay for this type of install. Thanks, send me to right people.

Not local to you but there is a mobile welder here in DFW that is doing some 4x sliders for a buddy and charging $200. That includes cutting the legs to the desired length, welding them to the slider, welding the mounting plate and gusset to the leg.
I would say $170-$200 is about right.

I think Stubbs is based in so cal. He makes various products to include third gen sliders. His welds are clean
