Well, I'm Out

Traded the 4R in this weekend. I was sad to see it go, but it made no sense to keep it. I drive quite a bit for work, so driving a 16 mpg suv up and down the highway just didn't really make much sense. We have the XC90 for family trips and it's much more comfortable and better on gas, so we decided to pull the plug.

I ended up getting a 2012 Acura TSX Special Edition, with 8,000 miles. It's basically new, it's never been titled and has been a dealer loaner since they got it. 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty with the certified program, so it seems like a decent deal.

Anyway, enjoyed my time here and I'll still follow the board and chime in every once in a while.

Here is a couple pics of the new ride, it needs a full detail on the exterior, the years worth of dealer car washes have taken its toll.

Thanks, absolutely will. From what I can tell, there aren't many great forums for the TSX, unless I'm just missing them. None are too active.

I'll keep sending pics of Sloan, she's getting big, 24 pounds now, right at 4 months!

I feel your pain. But I need a vehicle to tow my camper with. If we didn't love camping I'd be getting something more practical also. I put about 30k+ miles a year. So I suffer on gas...but I'm OK with it.

Yes, I'm 100% positive. Its a certified car which adds a year and 12,000 miles to the factory warranty, which is 4 years and 50,000 miles,so that makes it 5 years 62000 miles. But, I actually bought the additional miles so I get 100k. It cost me an additional $1400, but I like the deal. Also free oil and filter changes for life and also roadside services too,which includes a ton of extras as well.

We don't have a camper, but any vacation we take the XC90. And if we decide to pull anything the 305 HP will do okay.
