I got rear ended in my 07 Sport V6 in January by an older Camry. But my impact was more in the middle rather than off to the side. My rear crossmember got pretty tweaked down and in and my hatch got dented pretty good along with bumper cracking and exhaust damage. They replaced a host of things in the repair: new muffler and resonator with pipes from Toyota, new hatch shell from Toyota, new bumper cover, cut out and welded in a new OEM rear crossmember, and replaced EVAP components that got damaged with OEM. All in the repairs were over 8 grand if I remember correctly (idk where the paperwork is anymore) and they still didn't total out the truck. It probably depends a lot on where you live and mileage. But some insurance companies and adjustment companies also just suck. Very sorry to hear this man

Now my insurance is trying to deny a uninsured claim, saying he had insurance at the time despite him admitting he didn't, the police report showing he didn't and a letter from his insurance saying he didn't.
