I got the OEM toyota brand, and the 03-05 is def different from my 08's bug deflector.

Also, after some hood damage from the brackets on the 03, ive devised a way that the bracket wont touch the paint nor the silicone strips that it comes with.

looks nice! after awhile the white letters fade away though (happened on my bf goodrich tires) A chrome grille guard and/or taillight covers would look sick!

Have you tried washing it with Bleche-white? Mine have always come clean using that

I second white letters out. Not to hijack your thread, but what wax/polish do you use? I've used Zaino for years, but never got a shine like yours. Looks amazing.

Also I 2nd the nice wax job. Have you or did clay bar? If not try it, the paint feels like glass and reflects like it too.

Honestly, that is all I do once/ year. Just wash, and use a Calif. duster. I never do anything else. Same for all my cars in the past. I believe that you can over do it. I keep it simple. Seems to work.

White letters fading

Another vote for white letters out!
A good tip the guy at Discount Tire had a sweet looking dodge truck with whites out so I asked him what he recommended for keeping them white. He said when the white letters start to fade take a really light sand paper and lightly sand the letters, he said the white layer is all the way through the tire.
