Westin Safari bar......wimpy ???

I'm still trying to find a little something for my front end on my 06 , but don't want anything overpowering as far as look's go . Do you all think the Westin Safari bar look's to wimpy for our truck's ? or to decorative ?

I don't think it looks that wimpy. There is the "Utilmate bull bar" coming out soon that does have a little more beefier look. Sample pic on an armada.

If you want the Safari, I do have some.

I know that I'll be getting the Westin "Ultimate" bull bar, it's far better looking (IMHO) than the safari bar.

Does anyone know if they (Ultimate Bull Bar) come pre-drilled/slotted for adding aftermarket lights, or is there an additional kit you have to purchase for light mounting?

I don't think I like the UBB , it look's to bulky to me and and make's the front end look lower . I'll have to see one when it come's out.

I've got the Safari grill on my 04 and it is more than enough for me: http://toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2708&perpage=15&pagenumber=2

I don't like the look of the full grill guard and thought that this was a good comprimise. For the 06 models though, I think I like the T&H grills.

Note: I did bend one of the light tabs while doing some offroading. I bent it back though. With that being said, I don't know if that "skid plate" on the UBB would be very good for offroading. It seems to add a few inches to the front of the bumber. With the open design of the safari grill, only the tubes are in the way.

The more I search on this forum, the more things I find that I have to choose from.

So I thought I was set on the Safari but now I see the Ultimate to ponder on as well. Hmmmm.......
