Well, I got a delivery this afternoon, though I wasn't real sure what I was going to find inside by looking at the shape it showed up in. Way to go FedEx. Looks like they piled a hundred boxes on top of this thing.

Thankfully it was still in one piece and not scratched. I also installed a set of Hella 500's on it.

Installing the bar was very easy. It only took about 15 minutes to install. You place a bracket on each side over existing bolts and tighten them up. Then you use one bolt on each side to bolt the bar to the brackets.

What I may do is get the black one and take it to a relative of mine who owns a body shop, see if he can paint it to match.

Ive seen a silver truck on here with the smaller westin bar who painted it to match. It looked really good. Try it , I guess you could always paint it back black if you didn't like it.

It doesn't look as low as I expected but it is still low. I plan on either doing the 1" leveling kit or going for th 2/1 combo just not sure yet. This will not be an offroad rig for a while as I have a Land Rover set up for that purpose that my wife can barely get into. If I lift the 4runner she might shoot me.
