Wharton State Park, NJ 11-2009

I took a trip to Wharton State Park in Nov of 09. I entered the park by the Ranger Station at the intersection of Route 206 and Atsion Rd.

Spent a few hours in the park, the place was empty. Interestingly, then the only 2 trucks, besides the Park Ranger that I saw were the heaviliy modded blue FJC with NY plates and a Land Cruiser.

It's a nice place to explore, you can drive around for hours there. Thanks for sharing the pics.

that looks like a pretty nice and quiet trail, something i dont really see too much here, but when i do see one im always hesitant b/c of my 2wd...do you think that trail is 2wd capable?

I think you could do most in a 2wd. But have someone with a 4wd and a strap with you just in case you may need help.
