What 4Runner should I buy??

I don't need a newer 4 runner

I now have a new Honda Pilot so I don't need a newer 4 runner, I want something that if I happen to rub against a tree I won''t start crying. I'll probably go check out the 96 and go from there.

Got me a 4 runner today

Well I bought me a 4 runner today. I bought the 96 I was asking about. So far the more I tinker with it the more I like it. At this point the only question I have is about a buzzing sound coming from a box in the engine area that is on the drivers side of the runner, it has hoses that attach to the air cleaner box and even when the runner is off, there is a buzzing noise coming from that unit. Is that normal?
I'm sure I will be back with more questions but for now I'm a happy camper.
