He must have forgot to put that this includes a lifetime warranty. The warranty work will be conducted by the Swedish bikini team at the location of your choice. Btw- they do an amazing oil change!

we had a person like this, he is still on the board (Gumball) or something, i know he still lurk around but dont post anymore, he was selling his more than this guy. what a *****

That is probably in Canadian dollars.

105,000 Miles on it although the conversion to US $ is close its $14,588.

But I have seen them selling at Carmax around here for about the same price and I think cars are a bit more expensive in Canada anyway.

About every 4Runner I saw around here when I was looking started at $13,500 and went up from there, all at Carmax where they do not except trade ins with more than 115,000 miles on them, then they do what dealers are supposed to do they go through them and replace everything that needs to be, tires brakes, belts, water pumps, batteries, everything.
Then they charge a premium for them and give a 3 year warranty.

Hey.... If i'm in no hurry to sell my vehicle, I'm gonna post it up early for more than its worth. If some idiot wants to buy it at that price, I'm going to sell it.

Why flame about about something that happens every single day in the dealership market? This guy is basically asking dealership price, on a private sale. If he gets a sale, good for him.

thats about 1-2k more than the average price for a good used 3rd 4runner in canada, depending on province as well, Fightman will sure have the same opinion, most of the used 3rd gens with that mileage go for about 10-13k

but the cdn$ is above the US$ for now, so depends on how you look at it :P

FWTW.......I know I'm not sitting on a 68 Shelby Mustang by any stretch.

However, if our 3rd gens happen to take off in value due to a demand for a quaility that we all appreciate. I'm all for it. After all it would be nice to at least break even on all the money we throw into our beloved 4Runners.

God forbid we all benefit from this sellers sale.......

Best Regards........8sm

Precisely.

Start high, end up where you feel comfortable selling. This is just common sense.

The price isn't too high for what it is - Limited with reasonable mileage (which is actually kilometers - so not nearly as bad) and looks to be in good shape. I don't think I'd pay 15k for a 4Runner but 13k perhaps.

That's priced pretty damned high, higher than a dealer if you ask me but hey, more power to the seller if he actually gets what he's asking for it.

Around Toronto, you can usually get one with this kind of mileage (kilometrage?) for anywhere between $6,000 (private) to $12,000 (dealer) but anything over $7,000 or $8,000 is rare. I picked my '99 SR5 up earlier in the year for $6k with recently replaced timing belt and water pump, and 160km on the odo (100k miles) and a decent maintenance record.

As an example, here's a couple on the higher end on Kijiji right now...
1999 Toyota 4Runner Limited Edition SUV - Mississauga / Peel Region Cars For Sale - Kijiji Mississauga / Peel Region Canada.

2002 Toyota 4Runner, SUV,AUTO, V6, SR5, 4X4, NO ACCIDENT - City of Toronto Cars For Sale - Kijiji City of Toronto Canada.

Interestingly enough, I just came across this one. I actually checked it out myself about 7 months ago when I was in the market but I didn't like the feel of the tranny and I see it still has not sold so maybe I wasn't the only one who got a bad feeing from it. Too bad, as it's a great looking Runner...
