What are stock 2000 Limited speakers?

Does anyone know what the stock speakers are in a 2000 Limited?
I'm looking at getting a new deck and wanted to match the outputs.

alternatively, anyone have good suggestions for a new deck?

I've got two pair of Kicker KS series components that are going in soon and they are 6.5" up front and 5.25" in the back which will mate up to my Alpine HU and MTX sub nicely;a freind of mine has the Kickers in his '01 Runner and they sound really nice.

The good part is I only spent $160 on ebay for both pair compared to spending almost $300 at Circuit City for the same.

Yeah you have stock 6.5" components up front and I think 5" in the rear. 5.25 s will drop in with minor mod to the factory plate or a half inch adapter plate.

They are both weird sizes and neither are getting replaced without some modification. I suggest you do quite a bit of reading before diggin into this as you will need to modify/fabricate brackets for the front and the rear.

The fronts are 6.5" but an aftermarket 6.5" wont just bolt right in, not to mention the stockers are glued to the bracket (flathead screwdriver works nicely here). Most have modified the stock front brackets to fit (I cut them out because my Polk MOMOs were too deep for the brackets, then just put self-tapping screws into anything they would bite on.

The rears are a bit easier. I think they are like a 4.5" speaker but a 5.25" is the easiest size to replace them with. You can buy brackets for the rear that make life easier. These used to be 1/8" thick and you had to use two sets, but it looks like they make them 1/4" thick now. Here is the link:

My front 6.5 components dropped right in and required no modification but my tweeter cups did need slight modification to fit just right.
