What are the cheapest recommended rock sliders?

Just picked up my TRD Pro so my wallet has been hit pretty hard but I want to get some rock sliders both for body protection and to use as footing for a roof rack/getting in & out for passengers. I seem to have missed all of the good group buys that had 25%+ discounts on them. Anyone have a recommendation on what the cheapest rock sliders that will hold up/be good as a side step as well for purchase now? I'm located in Los Angeles and don't mind paying cash if it's within an hour drive.

I got the nfab rock sliders with detatchable steps to help passengers from getting in and out. The sliders go for about 380. Each pair of steps is 80 x 2 pairs = 160. The total is about 540 i remember. I just think they look cool since there is only minimum surface on the steps, which give it a super clean look!
 
Best bet is probably to wait for another group buy.. unless you can find a local fab shop who will do it cheaper. I'm sure there's some down there.
 
My suggestion is don't buy based on the cheapest, as you will likely be disappointed.

I know the TRD Pro's hit your wallet pretty hard, but buy a slider that you like the quality and looks of, rather than buying the cheapest.

You can either wait for a group buy, or bite the bullet and buy now.

I bought a set of C4Fab sliders for my Pro and they arrived a week ago. I could have waited until early next year for their next group buy, but I opted to buy now.

Sliders mount to the frame of the vehicle and I'm not aware of any N-Fab stuff that does this. If you're really after sliders, there's a RCI group buy that ends tonight and you can find the coupon code in the group buy section.
 
Save your money and get what is best...don't think it's worth getting the "cheapest" when better products can be had for not that much more money.
 
I just checked some prices, at 499 the Alllpro HD are a good buy, they're tubular instead of square pipe and gusseted as well. I had their apex sliders on another truck and they were bomb proof, almost excessively heavy and they taper up nice and tight. Hit a tree stump going ~20mph and took the powdercoat off then bumpout but no damage otherwise. Have had a number of recent Allpro tube products and their quality seems to be really good.

I have a feeling you're going to get hundred different opinions here though. It's probably safe to say that sliders from any of the sponsors here are going to be safe, go with the construction and style you like best for your given price point. Last thing, weld on sliders are going to be even cheaper if you want to go that route.
 
Save up and get the ones you want with kickouts. Or hold off and keep checking the classified threads here. I got a good deal on my DO x-wings doing this.

This^ not necessarily c4's which I have too but get a quality slider with kick outs for access to reach your coming roof rack. Buy once, cry once and in the long run you'll be much happier.

Spends $45k on a truck but not willing to spend $600 for a decent set of sliders to protect your investment? That type of logic doesn't make much sense to me. Fortunately for you there are plenty of sliders which come in at a decent price. Look into the Metaltech 4x4 OPOR, RCI metalworks, Pelfreybilt, or Shrockworks. They're all around the same price once you factor in the powder coating. As well Black Friday sales are around the corner if you can wait 2 months.

Look up Joe on Instantgram Outgearsolutions, SoCal fab guy doing sliders from his shop. Don't know the price but his roof rack welds are fantastic.
 
Southern Style Offload has the best value I think in sliders. $499 delivered when I bought mine.
