are thy pretty expensive? cause im thinking on getting them when my wheels come in. Do they cause any performance issues?

I think they are ~$200 if I remember correctly. Make sure you get the right ones. There are hub centric and wheel centric, or something like that. I'm not sure which one is the correct kind.

wow! way more than i thought! i think those trd wheels are gonna have to stick out a little. there 16x7.5 and i think that the stock is 16x8. so i duno. thanks for that info though i may jsut have to do it!

I believe the wheels on the 3rd gen's are all hub centric:confused:

I wasent't talking about the rims, but rather the spacers. Maybe I'm completely off here.

No you are not completely off. There are spacers that are hub-centric (designed to fit over the hub of a Toyota only.) And there are spacers that are lug-centric. These are centered by the lug nuts rather than the center bore hole. They are designed so that one part can fit multiple vehicles with the same bolt pattern. People generally get some front-end vibration with the lug-centric ones.

I have Spidertrax hub-centric wheel spacers and I've been running them for 1 year now with no problems.

Gottabetrd, The stock wheels are 16x7. You need to look at the backspacing to figure out how much those TRD wheels will stick out. I think they will probably have about 5" of backspacing since they are used on a Tacoma also, but the extra .5" in width should put them about the same amount stuck out as your stock wheels. Let us know how it looks and post some pictures if you get them. I need those centercaps!

thanks trd, ya i bealive they're 4.5 on the back spacing, but thsts good to knowi wont have to buy spacers. i dont know i may to get them for a "rugged"? look i saw a titan today with spacers and no lift it looked pretty good, it would be alot better with a lift haha! but ya man this week will be the week i find out if i even get them. i paid for them already so the dealership is goin to work for me. crossing my fingers! ill definately post pics.
