My 4-runner had been running great all summer. The last trip out to the hunting club it fired right up but when I pulled out on the road and hit 3rd it bogged down when I gave it gas, to the point that when I pushed in the clutch it cut off, then it would hardly start. After letting it sit for a while it fired back up and ran fine again for a little while then started doing it again. When giving it has it acts like it is not getting fuel. I have been putting sea foam and the stabile E85 treatment in the gas since it does sit for several weeks between uses.

I dont have any codes being tripped, does it sound like trash in fuel line? It has a new filter on it done in March when I did the head. Just looking for things to try, it is a ways away from any shops and I cant get big tools to it since it is at the hunting club.

Thanks for any input!

Sounds like a fuel pressure/metering issue. You might hook up a gauge and check it. With the ethanol in the petrol these days, I've had to completely rebuild the fuel system in our 1990.
