My son and I each have the 03 V8 Limited and we do most of our own maintenance.... My understanding is that we have the A750F transmission just like the 04+ but ours has the dipstick.... This seems to imply that the WS fluid is recommended for the A750F but am not sure if that covers the 2003....
There is an old thread on it here where there is the possibility of a material change between the sealed and unsealed transmissions....
The TC introducing the WS fluid in 2004 is here and is very specific that WS ATF is applicable to 2004+ 4runners.....
My problem is that when we changed the ATF in my sons runner I used WS instead of T-IV and need to assess how serious my screw up is....
Would appreciate it if you could let me know what ATF you are using if you have a similar model.....
