What bulbs for my Hella's

hey man, Clemsonfan did this with his Hellas. i think he has a write up too.

IMO im not sure Alaska is foggy at all but a 3000k would be ideal for those fog lights!!

but it sounds like you'd rather have more light. I think 6000k would be a little too blue in the small frosted housing like that. that would make you lose a lot of light. i would do 4500K or 5000K. Its too bad your not closer man cause ive got my 4500k H4 bulbs here just sitting around doin nothing right now.

As for the hook up, if they are h4 bulbs i think they should just fit right in and all you gotta do is hook the HID stuff like it was your headlights. You dont need the Hi/lo kit unless you plan on running some kind of switch that can adjust the hi/lo.

jared i used to have HID's in my headlights and they were 55w bi xenon and they were nothing but trouble, think i just got a bad vendor on ebay, i would go with DDM this next time, i was thinking 6000k for my off road lights but maybe ill drop to 4500k for better lighting

yeah DDM is pretty good IMO besides their customer service but from what i see, is there us a billion people that want their kits cause they are such a good deal, and they really just dont have enough staff to fill and take care of the orders. and how i see it is a lot of stressed out employees just giving up and saying "screw it" which puts them behind so much

but as for the color, for me i think when i do my next retrofit i MAY go with the 6000K cause the partial blue just looks awesome on a black vehicle. but you will defiantly gain the most light with the 4500K bulbs with the off road lights. they are nowhere near the halogen yellow, its a nice clean white. I think you saw mine a while back when i was driving up to help you with your truck. but yeah i really liked the color temp.
