What can I do with it?

Hi,I'm new(2weeks) owner of my 2006 4runner 4wd SE. And I would like to make some little changes to it,but have no idea if this is possible...

1: Head lights- seams to starting to have a sun damage (slightly on top ), but it bothers me a lot! Is it something can be done ???

2: I already got a spoiler with all the instructions and everything,but I'm a woman and have no idea how to do this staff , so I need some place where can i take it to install and what should I pay for job (if anybody knows)

3: Also - would love to change head light bulbs . Should i buy it on my own,or go some where else ?

that looks like the truck I was looking at, at Starling Chevy, but it looks to have a Central fForida Toyota sticker on it, like mine does, haha, very nice truck, I know the lights can be buffed, I'd google how-to's, not sure if they have it on this site. best of luck with the truck.

I'm not sure what's wrong with the headlights.

The spoiler shouldn't be too hard. I would try to do it myself.

Definitely do a search on here and figure out which bulbs you want to buy and buy them online. They are very easy to change yourself and it will save you some money. Just make sure not to touch the glass part of the bulbs when you are handling them.

I have a 4R and an adopted dog, and I am starting to look at breeeders to get a Cane Corso as a second dog.

Anyways, for the headlights, Sand and Polish. I'd do 600, 1000, 2000 grit then Polish and, Meg's PlastiX polish on that. As said, there are many online instructions for it. Search "Headlight Polishing". PM me if you can't find anything.

For the Bulbs, you might want to upgrade to Xenon from XenonDepot for your projectors and Pure White bulbs for the rest. They are on the forum and will provide you a discount.

That said, you have a Gen IV 4Runner, there are plenty of us on the Gen IV forum, feel free to post all your input and questions over there. We will all help you.

I changed my headlight and fog light bulbs to Sylvania/OSRAM Ultra Silverstar bulbs. Reasonably priced - often on sale with a rebate. Simple plug and play replacement. Big visibility improvement at night. About $30 pair.

3M makes a kit for polishing the plastic headlight lenses. Mcguiar's does too.

Check Amazon for both - they usually have decent description and ok pricing.

Hi Torra,

I changed my stock light bulbs for the PIAAs Xtreme White Plus (part number:9005 for high beams and H11 for low beams). PIAA ain't cheap but has good quality.

About the spoiler, if you don't drive to fast, the other cause to install it is to try to keep the rear window cleaner from rain / snow / dust etc. In my own opinion, the 4R looks nice with out it.

RainX has a polish kit to fix the headlights.

1. I use this Wolfgang kit from Autogeek for the hazing in headlights.

2. Call a few body shops. I'd imagine it shouldn't take more than a hour in shop time (about $70/hr).

3. If you're doing bulbs consider Sylvania's SilverStars (has a shorter life span, but whiter light) or HIR bulbs. You can also do a plug and play HID kit from XenonDepot (some will argue, HIDs are not for halogen housing). For the ultimate and best lighting performance, you'll want to retrofit HID components (projector and reflector bowl) into your headlight housings.
