What color would you like

Where to start.

Shocks, springs, sways, short shifter, transmission brace tweak, intake, exhaust, chip, euro ellipsoid headlights, clear turn signals, 13.1" 4 piston brembo front brakes, SS lines, underdrive pullies, fan delete mod, x brace, strut brace, and some more I'm probably forgetting. Drives like its on rails.

British Racing Green has to be the most boring color out there, but it represents racing. The green that is on the 3rd gen is really nice but if it were a little brighter. I'm kind of partial to this color green but it only looks appropriate on a Kawasaki.

Bring back the green and add a second red choice. Either make the Salsa lighter and add darker maroon color or vice versa--make Salsa darker and add a brighter red.

i wish they would make a Pearl Black ala the previous gen. Tundra, yet w/ less purple + green flakes in it so when the sun hits it, either color doesn't show up as strong.

Color Trends

I am in the coatings industry and the company I work for makes the exterior coatings for Lexus, Toyota, Subaru, and a few others in Japan as well as approximately 1/2 the US Toyota production.

We see colors come and go, with some being obvious mainstays: white, black, silver, and red metallic/mica. For many years white was the most popular car color in the US, only to be surpassed by silver a few years back. Black is always hgh in popularity.

Personally, I like silver - especially for a vehicle that will be used and get dirty. Silver hides dirt better than any other color. If you take your vehicle off the beaten path often enough than you may come to appreciate this. Also, a study was done which compared accident frequancy with vehicle color and the result was that silver was the least likely to be involved in an accident. Without seeing details of the test, I would not put too much emphasis on this conclusion.

Galactic Gray was my second choice - but I have always liked gray. I didn't like the Pacific Blue at first, but it has grown on me. As mentioned above, I would also like to see Toyota offer some of the colors on BMW's pallette. Hey, if you think Toyota has a limited color choice - look at Honda and some others!

I would like to see Flint Mica (a dark grey available on the RX330 and Rav4) and a "frosted" or "crystal" white pearl (available on the Rav4L or Sienna).
