What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

About a year ago I paid $4200 for a black 2007 V8 limited. It had 275k miles on it but incredibly clean. A year and 20k miles later I still love it.

2005 V8 Limited dorado gold- 167k miles, $15k from WA dealer. ouch.

The ouch is because the body and interior was in such good condition that I didn't inspect it very well. Needed Timing belt, fluids, CV axles, and steering rack. XREAS Suspension and tires were shot too but I was going to replace those either way.

This is my first post but I've been combing through the 3rd gen forums for years. Thanks everyone for all the helpful information.

Just paid 17k for a 2005 SR5 4x4 v6 with 85k miles. Needs some inner CV boots, but other than that she runs and drives great. very clean interior and exterior for being 15+ years old. Been in AZ its entire life, so zero rust.

Paid 22,000.00 9 years ago for a 2007 sr5 with 167,000. Now I’m about 400 miles away from rolling 300,000 and it’s been going strong. I’ve done a few small mods (roof rack and interior lighting) but definitely looking at doing more. This is the second 4Runner I’ve gotten to 300,000 miles. My first one was a 96 sr5 manual.

Mine has also always been a Texas 4runner, but they used it to take them to the beach down in to Galveston, so it has a little surface rust on the body here and there! Frame looks okay though.

I bought my dorado gold 2003 SR5 V8 4WD in January 2022 for $8k with 215k miles. Possibly a little high price for the condition but I purchased it in Oregon and I thought it was a decent deal at the time. Timing belt had been done recently and I replaced both rear brake calipers with 5th gen calipers and both front wheel bearings and cv axles.

Hi I am new to this forum. I finally pulled the trigger and bought me a 2006 Toyota 4runner SR5 with 46k original miles for $13.500 from an elderly man. The car 100% stock and is super clean in an out. Im not sure if i got a killer deal or not but im really happy with it. I do have some few plans of modifications, so im looking forward to this little project.
